(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – The City of Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded on Friday February 19, 2016 at 12:41pm to a reported vehicle in the ditch. The vehicle had left Highway 7 between Heights Road and Mount Horeb Road.
An investigation was commenced and the officer arrested the driver of the vehicle, a green 1999 Acura, for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Driving with Over 80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The 23 year old driver, Brendon HOF, of Brampton will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on March 24, 2016.
