(Prince Edward County, ON) On January 26, 2015 at 4:08am officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment responded to a Rossmore home regarding a break and enter. The police investigation revealed; the incident occurred during the early morning hours, the residents were home at the time and a number of electronic devices were stolen.
The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine Unit were activated. Officers searched the area however police were unable to locate the suspect(s).
OPP have since learned of a second break and enter into a near-by home. The OPP Forensic Identification Unit is assisting in these investigations.
