(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a break and enter at an Ordnance Avenue, Turkey Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, September 7, 2015 at approximately 8:42 a.m., police received a call from a concerned homeowner after they discovered that unknowns entered their cottage.
Through investigation it was determined that on Monday, September 7, 2015 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., unknowns gained entry into a cottage while the occupants were sleeping. Once inside, unknowns removed a quantity of American currency and a set of car keys from a purse. Unknowns then entered a vehicle parked on the property and removed a Garmin Global Positioning System (GPS) and a folder that contained a drivers licence, gift cards, credit cards and an older style cellular flip phone.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
