(CALEDON, ON)- On April 22, 2014 shortly after 1:40 pm, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter which occurred approximately 2 hours earlier at a Plummer Road residence.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the suspect(s) entered the residence by forcing their way into the home through the back door and then disconnecting the alarm system. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole cash from a child’s piggy-bank and 2 tablets.
Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
