(CALEDON, ON)- On September 18th, 2014 officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a break and enter into a shed located on Heart Lake Road. The homeowners advised that the break and enter had occurred sometime between noon and 2:30 pm. Police learned that the suspect(s) gained access to the shed by forcing open a locked sliding door. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole remote control helicopters, batteries, chargers, transmitters and a Rigid Drill Kit.
Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
