Break And Enter At Fred’s Work Wear

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment investigated a break and enter at a Broad Street East, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Thursday, August 4, 2016 at approximately 9:22 a.m., police received a call from the owner of Fred’s Work Wear reporting a break and enter.

Through the course of investigation, it was determined that unknowns attended the address between Wednesday, August 3, 2016 and Thursday, August 4, 2016 and gained entry into the business. Once inside, unknowns removed a quantity of long and short sleeved construction shirts, orange and green in colour as well as an electric wheelchair.

The wheelchair is described as a custom built chair, black in colour with two large wheels and two small wheels.

The theft is estimated at approximately $10,000 dollars.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the assistance of the public. If anyone has any information they are being asked to contact the Haldimand County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
