(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Sunday, August 3, 2014 at approximately 12:27 p.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Marine Unit was patrolling Georgian Bay near Meaford when officers observed a vessel towing a water skier without a spotter.
The operator of the 2002 SeaRay, Fatima MOORE, 58, of the Blue Mountains, was charged with Operating Vessel to Tow a Person on Water Without a Person on Board Keeping Watch of Person being Towed under the Small Vessel Regulations of the Canada Shipping Act.
