Black 2013 Chevrolet Silverado Stolen From Near Wingham

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the theft of a pickup truck that was stolen early this morning in Morris-Turnberry.

Sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. those responsible entered onto a farm property located on Jamestown Road south of Wingham. Once on the property the thief located the unattended pickup truck near the laneway. The thief simply entered into the unlocked pickup truck, used the ignition key that was left behind in the vehicle and took off heading westbound on Jamestown Road.

The stolen vehicle is described as a black, 4X4, 2013 Chevrolet Silverado with a short box and a tonneau cover. The rear box contained custom wooden crates which stored various hand tools.

The vehicle is valued at an estimated $16,000.
