(PELEE ISLAND, ON) –Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stationed on Pelee Island this weekend received a report of a single vehicle crash at the intersection of East-West Road and East Shore Road on July 30, 2016 at approximately 8:45 a.m.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and exhibited signs of impairment.
He was issued a Roadside Screening Device Demand and was subsequently issued a three day driver’s licence suspension.
It was also determined that the vehicle he was driving, had been taken without prior consent of the owner.
Ben BRADLEY, age 22 of Kingsville was charged with Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent and Careless Driving. He will appear in a Leamington court on August 18, 2016 to answer to the charges.
