Officer on patrol observed a vehicle leaving a downtown drinking establishment. Vehicle was observed swerving and the Officer suspected the driver may be under the influence of alcohol.

The vehicle was stopped by Police and the driver had an odor of alcohol o his breath. Driver was arrested for being impaired by alcohol and transported to the Barrie Police station.

Male provided breath samples and was over twice the legal limit.

His license was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for 7 days.

Male was released with a future court date.

Date: Saturday, November 12, 2016 – 8:30pm

On the 12th of November 2016 Barrie Police were called to an address on Sanford street in the city of Barrie in regards to ambulance assit.

Once on scene police discovered that there was a warrant outstanding for the male that was in medical distress. The male was taken to hospital and treated. Once male was released from hospital he was taken into police custody and held for a Bail Hearing on the strength of the warrant.
