(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Wednesday the 23rd of July 2014, at approximately 3:07 a.m. officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a fire on Chemaushgon Road in the Town of Bancroft. Officers attended the location, a private residence and a Toyota Tacoma truck was observed with fire damage.
A second vehicle fire was reported on VanLuven Lane in the Town of Bancroft. Officers attended the location, a private residence where a Toyota Corolla car was observed with fire damage.
Investigation into the two vehicle fires is ongoing at this time.
