(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On March 24, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was contacted in regards to an attempted theft that had occurred overnight at a local business on Heights Road in the former Emily Township.
On arrival the officer observed that the fence on the business property had been cut and a large lawn tractor was located at a neighbouring drive where it appeared that attempts to load it onto another vehicle were unsuccessful.
