A 19yr old Barrie male was arrested for uttering threats to his father. The male was transported to the station and lodged in the cell area to await a bail hearing. An officer attended the males’ cell to explain the procedure for his upcoming video remand hearing. The male became agitated and spat in the officers face. The male was charged with the offence of assault peace officer. The male was remanded over for a bail hearing on Monday.
