Arson Charge Laid In 2010 Fire

(SOUTH FRONTENAC, ON) – On June 11, 2015, a joint investigation involving the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Kingston Police Force, led by OPP Detective Inspector Paul Yelle, Criminal Investigation Branch, resulted in the arrest and charge of a South Frontenac man in relation to a historical arson.

On May 12, 2010, emergency crews responded to a house fire on North Shore Road, South Frontenac. No one was injured in the fire.

As a result of the investigation, officers have charged DavidCAMERON, 48 of Sydenham, ON with:

1. Arson =‎ Disregard for Human Life

2. Arson – ‎For Fraudulent Purposes

3. Possession of Proceeds of Crime

He was remanded into custody to appear on June 16, 2015 in the Ontario Court of Justice, Kingston.
