(HUNTSVILLE, ON) Over the past few days, beginning around the 12 of May 2015 several vehicles have had personal and valuable items removed. Items included anything from electronics, to golf clubs, to cash to tools. In all of the incidents the vehicles were left unlocked and the property was left where it could be easily seen.
As a result of the investigation into these thefts, two young offenders and a 20-year-old male from Huntsville have been arrested for these incidents and they face several charges involving these thefts. One youth has been held for a bail hearing next court date in June of 2015 and the other two will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Huntsville with July court dates.
Most of the property recovered has been returned to the rightful owners, there is still property recovered that was not reported taken.
This is a good reminder for all residence of Huntsville to take their valuables out of their vehicles at the end of the day, take the time to rolling up the windows and locking the doors at the end of the day.
