ARREST MADE IN COMMERCIAL BREAK AND ENTERS

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has made an arrest in relation to commercial break and enters that occurred within Middlesex County throughout October and November.

On October 18, 2013 at 4:46 a.m. Middlesex County OPP responded to a break and enter complaint at the Mill Pond Tap and Grill located on Dorchester Road, Thames Centre. On October 27, 2013 at 05:57 a.m. Middlesex County OPP responded to a break and enter complaint at the Carolinian Winery located on Dundas Street, Thames Centre. On November 3, 2013 at 5:19 a.m. police responded to a commercial break and enter at Ardiel Electronics located on 2100 block of Highbury Avenue, Middlesex Centre.

The investigations were conducted with the assistance of the Middlesex County OPP Property Crimes Unit. As a result police have charged a male, Alain CLOUTIER, age 36 of London, ON with the following:

3 counts of breaking and entering a place with intent to commit an indictable offence under the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC)
1 count of mischief under the CCC

The charged party is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in a London Court December 12, 2013 to speak to the charges.
