(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a Laurentian Hills woman in connection with an early morning robbery on October 13, 2015 at the Mac’s Milk on Pembroke Street East in the City of Pembroke. The robbery occurred after a lone female enter the store with a weapon and demanded cash. The robbery was interrupted when a vehicle pulled into the Mac’s Milk parking lot. The suspect fled on foot without obtaining any money. No one was injured during the course of the robbery.
On October 30, 2015 police arrested and charged 27 year old Carly FARRELL with the following Criminal Code offences in relation to the robbery:
· Robbery Using Firearm
· Disguise with Intent
She was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 05, 2015.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate an unsolved robbery at the same Mac’s Milk location on September 14, 2015 after an unarmed suspect wearing a black mask made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as:
· White male, 5ft. 9in. medium build
· Wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with “Canada” written in white letters on the front
· Wearing light blue jeans
