Another Unlocked Pickup Truck With Keys In Stolen

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday November 10, 2013, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a rural address on Line 75 east of Atwood, where the resident reported the theft of a pickup truck.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 1:45 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. unknown person(s) entered the unlocked truck which had been parked on the driveway. The truck was started with the keys which had been left inside the vehicle. The truck was driven away in an unknown direction.

The truck is described as a Black 2005 GMC Sierra, single cab, short-box, pickup truck. It is equipped with chrome step bars, 6” suspension lift kit, John Deere cap on the hitch, headlight covers on the bottom lights, dual exhaust straight pipes and a chrome bug deflector.
