(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On April 18, 2015 at approximately 2:15 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a vehicle being driven erratically on York Road in the City of Guelph. Police stopped the vehicle and spoke with the male driver who showed signs of alcohol consumption.
A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Andrew Dale MACLEAN (24) of Guelph Ont. has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 15, 2015 to answer to the charge.
