(POINT EDWARD, ON) A 70 year old male from Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA, is awaiting a bail appearance after being arrested and charged by Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The male was found to be in possession of a loaded Ruger, 40 calibre handgun as he attempted to enter Canada at the Blue Water Bridge port of entry, and now faces the following charges:
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm in a Motor Vehicle
Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
Importing an Unauthorized Prohibited Weapon/Device
A Sarnia court appearance for the male is scheduled for September 24, 2013.
