(PERRY TWP, ON) – On Friday June 12, 2015 at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers from the North East Region Highway Safety Division of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program on Highway 592 at the Highway 11 exit ramp.
Officers spoke to the driver of a vehicle that approached the R.I.D.E program and subsequently arrested him, for having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood.
The driver, Jeremy OUDERKIRK, 39 of Perry Township was charged with having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood, contrary to the Criminal Code and driving a motor vehicle with unsealed container of liquor, contrary to the Liquor Licence Act. The accused was released from police custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Sundridge Ontario.

OPP INVESTIGATE THEFT OF A CHAIN SAW
(MACHAR TWP, ON) – On June 13, 2015 at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a theft from a shed located on the property of a Hawthorne Drive residence. Sometime between Sunday June 7, 2015 and Friday June 12, 2015, unknown person(s) entered the shed and stole a Stihl chainsaw.

BREAK ENTER AND THEFT TO AN ARMOUR TOWNSHIP RESIDENCE
(ARMOUR TWP, ON) – The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break enter and theft that occurred at a Ryerson Crescent residence.
Over the past year, unknown person(s) entered the residence and stole a mandolin, ipod speakers, $40 in change and a water bottle. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $200.
