(RED LAKE, ON) – On April 11, 2015 at approximately 6:57 AM, Red Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were on patrol on Highway 105 within the Municipality of Red Lake.
The OPP officers observed a vehicle on Highway 105 driving in a dangerous manner.
Police stopped the motor vehicle and determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside screening device test was conducted and registered a fail. The driver was arrested and transported to the Red Lake OPP Detachment for further testing.
Alexander QUILL, age 26, of the First Nations Territory of Pikangikum, has been charged with Over 80 Milligrams contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada, and Impaired Driving contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
QUILL is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Red Lake on May 28, 2015, to answer to the charge.
