(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Sunday May 24, 2015 at 8:00am members of the Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment set up a R.I.D.E lane on Ravenscliffe Road in the town of Huntsville.
In the duration of the checks and several vehicles checked, members issued two 3-day suspension notices for drivers registering warn on the road side device. The two drivers had their driver’s licence seized which was turned into the MTO for notice.
Huntsville OPP would like to remind drivers who had celebrated for some reason the night before, a few hours of sleep still may not be enough time allotted to get back in the vehicle and drive. It is recommended to avoid driving the next day after a heavy night of drinking.
