(Quinte West, ON) – On Friday February 28th, 2014, at approximately 3:30pm Police responded to a domestic dispute at a Sidney Ward residence in the City of Quinte West. The Police investigation revealed that a heated argument had turned physical between a married 87 year old male and female. The female assaulted her husband with a wooden chair causing serious, but non-life threatening, injuries to the male. The male was treated in hospital and released. The female was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm. She was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date later this month at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
