(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Tuesday November 19, 2013 just after 2:00pm Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police along with Muskoka EMS were called to Centre St and Main St. Huntsville for a report of a child that had been struck by a vehicle.
Investigation found that a grey Pontiac Vibe was making a left hand turn onto Centre St from Main St. and struck the 8 year old child who was crossing at the walk with his family. The child was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
An 83-year-old female from Huntsville has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Fail To Yield to Pedestrian.
