69 Year Old Charged In Collision

(SUDBURY, ON) – At 12:28 p.m., on January 18, 2016, members from the Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle personal injury motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, in the town of Wahnapitae.

Investigation revealed that a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) travelling northbound on Highway 537 was approaching the intersection of Highway 17 when it slid through the intersection and was struck by an SUV travelling eastbound on Highway 17.

The female driver and female passenger of both vehicles were transported to hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) with non-life threatening injuries.

Pauline St-Pierre, 69 years of age, from Sudbury, was charged with: Fail to yield to traffic on through highway, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
