(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On March 27, 2017 at 11:45 a.m., members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police received a call on Highway 400 regarding a wrong way vehicle.
The vehicle was located and the investigation has determined that it travelled the wrong way on the divided highway.
As a result of the investigation;
Shirley KEATING, 67 years of age from McKellar, was charged with Drive Wrong Way on Divided Highway, contrary to section 156(1)(a) of the Highway Traffic Act.
The OPP is reminding the motoring public to be mindful of signage on all highways and roadways to ensure safe and proper usage.
