6 Year Old Struck By Transport Truck

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment is investigating a fail to remain collision at a Rainham Road, Haldimand County, ON address.

On Tuesday March 3rd, 2015 at approximately 8:00 am a 6 year old boy was running to the road to catch his approaching school bus when he ran out onto the road and was struck by green transport truck with no trailer. The boy was knocked to the ground and sustained non – life threatening injuries. After checking the condition of the young boy the transport left the scene without providing details.

The young boy was eventually transport to hospital by a parent for treatment.

Police are continuing with the investigation and are requesting the assistance of the public to possibly identify the Transport Company and driver.
