(ABERFOYLE, ON) – Members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a four vehicle collision on Brock Road in Aberfoyle Ontario at 6:45 p.m. on September 17, 2015.
Investigation revealed that an officer was traveling northbound behind three other vehicles on Brock Road when he failed to stop for the vehicles stopped on the road in front. The collision caused all 4 vehicles to come into contact with each other.
Three of the four drivers received minor injuries, however nobody required hospitalization. Damage to all vehicles was moderate.
The collision was investigated by a member of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) unit.
As a result of the investigation, Provincial Constable G. LAKE, a 19-year-veteran of the OPP who is currently attached to the Investigation and Enforcement Bureau was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Careless Driving.
