23 Year Old Arrested In Goderich Drug Bust

(GODERICH, ON) – On Thursday, October 5th, 2017, members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Huron – Perth Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) along with assistance from West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence located on Wolfe Street, in the Town of Goderich, Huron County, Ontario.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized cocaine, oxycodone, cannabis marihuana, and psilocybin. The combined street value of the seized controlled substances is estimated at $3,589.

Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia and cash. The combined value of the offence related property is estimated at $1,500.

Police have arrested and charged 23-year-old Kesha WEITZEL of Goderich. She is also charged with Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking Cocaine and Marihuana. Additionally, she is charged with Possession of Psilocybin and Oxycodone.

She has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for November 6, 2017.
