19 Year Old Ejected During Collision Sustains Life Threatening Injuries

(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Members of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a single vehicle collision on Ellis Avenue near Mount Pleasant Road in the County of Brant at approximately 11:00 p.m. on October 30, 2015.

OPP members along with County of Brant Fire and County of Brant Ambulance service attended the scene and located a single vehicle collision.

Police investigators determined that a white 1996 Ford Contour had been travelling east bound on Ellis Avenue when it left the roadway.

As a result of the collision the 19-year-old male passenger from the City of Brantford was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital by County of Brant Ambulance Service with life threatening injuries.

The 18 year old male driver suffered minor injuries and was also transported to a local hospital by County of Brant Ambulance Service.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) were deployed to the scene to assist with the investigation and the cause of the collision is still under investigation
