19 Year Old Caught Going 98 in a 40

(CALEDON, ON) On Friday, April 1, 2016 an officer from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol along Olde Baseline Road in the area of the Cheltenham Badlands when he observed a red Dodge Ram pick-up truck travelling at a high rate of speed above the posted speed limit. The officer activated the cruiser’s mobile RADAR unit and determined the speed to be 98 km/hr. in a posted 40 km/hr. zone. .

As a result of the traffic stop, Brian Robert James YUNDT, 19, of Fergus has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. Subsequently, the driver received a 7-day licence suspension and his motor vehicle was seized for a period of 7 days as a result of the stunt driving charge.

The driver is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Caledon on May 16, 2016 to answer to the charge.
