(ST.MARYS, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has completed its investigation into incidents involving the spray painting of obscene images at a residential property and a public park in St.Marys.
The incidents were reported to police on October 19, 2015, and occurred at a Jones St. East residence as well as at the Milt Dunnell Field. A police investigation ensued and the responsible male youth was arrested.
A 15-year-old St.Marys resident has been charged with two counts of “mischief under $5,000”, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was released on a Promise to Appear and has a court appearance scheduled for November 19, 2015, at the Youth Justice Court in Stratford.
