(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating an incident at a 7th Concession Road ENR, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Monday, November 23, 2015 at approximately 10:38 a.m., police received a call from a concerned citizen after they observed a deer carcass on the side of the roadway.
Through the course of investigation it was determined that unknowns attended the area between Friday, November 20, 2015 and Monday, November 23, 2015 and dumped the carcass along with approximately 12 deer heads and various deer legs.
The Ministry of Natural Resources has been contacted and informed of this incident.
The OPP are reminding all community residents to contact the police immediately if suspicious persons or activity is observed.
