(NAPANEE, ON)- Over the Thanksgiving holiday officers with the Napanee Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped eleven (11) drivers for stunt driving (speeding by 50 km/h or more over the posted speed limit).
Eleven drivers and occupants of vehicles on Highway 401 near Napanee had their holiday plans interrupted as the vehicles were seized on the spot and towed. Speeds ranged from 153 km/h – 178 km/h.
All vehicles were seized for seven days; drivers received a seven day licence suspension and were issued a summons to appear in Provincial Court in Napanee.
VEHICLE STOLEN FROM AMHERSTVIEW
(AMHERSTVIEW, ON)- A resident of Amherstview reported his van stolen from his driveway located on Murray Place sometime between October 9th – October 12th.
The vehicle is described as a green Honda Odyssey minivan.

BREAK IN TO AMHERSTVIEW SALON
(AMHERSTVIEW, ON)- Sometime during the late hours of October 11, 2015 and early morning hours of October 12, 2015 an unknown person(s) smashed the back door of Tips and Clips Nails and Hair Salon located on Bath Road, in Amherstview. Money was stolen from the cash till.
