Liquor Offences in Ridgetown
The Chatham-Kent police responded to three (3) liquor related incidents last night in Ridgetown. Just before 1:00 a.m. an 18-year-old man was arrested for being intoxicated in a public place. He was transported to police headquarters and held in custody until sober. Another 18-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were also issued liquor tickets.
Just before 1:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, an officer observed two youths on Grand Avenue West in possession of a controlled substance. A 16-year-old Raleigh Township youth and 17-year-old Orford Township youth were both arrested and charged with drug possession. They were released pending a future court date.
