Ditch Drunk Driver Arrested In Morris-Turnberry – Marina RANDAZZO

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A Hamilton resident will be making a return trip to Huron County later this summer to answer to an Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 Plus charge following an investigation conducted by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) last week.

Shortly after 12:00 a.m. on July 1, 2021 Huron County OPP officers received a call about a motorist that had ditched their vehicle at the intersection of Black Line and Harriston Road.  Upon arrival at the scene officers identified and spoke with the uninjured driver. Upon speaking with the driver police had reason to believe the driver had consumed some alcohol.

A roadside test was conducted and the driver registered a fail. Upon doing so the driver was placed under arrest and was transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for further testing. Two samples of breath were later provided to the Intoxilizer Technician and both tests were found to be above the legal limit.

Marina RANDAZZO, 45 years of age, from Hamilton has been charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 Plus. The accused has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for July 26, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
