Another KERR Arrested For Drunk Driving

(GODERICH, ON) – A Goderich resident will be making a trip to court in August following a traffic stop conducted by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) this past weekend in Goderich.

On July 3, 2021 at approximately 2:32 p.m. a Huron OPP officer was patrolling in Goderich on Cambria Road when they stopped a driver for a traffic violation. Upon speaking with the driver the investigating officer detected the driver had been consuming some alcohol.

As such a roadside screening test was performed and the driver registered a Fail. The driver was placed under arrest and was subsequently transported to the Huron OPP Detachment for further testing. Two samples of breath were later provided to the Intoxilizer Technician and both samples were found to be over the legal limit.

Michael KERR, 33 years of age, from Goderich has been charged with Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 Plus. The accused received a 90-day automatic driver’s licence suspension and a court date scheduled for August 30, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
