20 Year Old From Morris-Turnberry Arrested

(NORTH HURON, ON) – An investigation conducted by the Huron County OPP involving an abandoned vehicle in a ditch in Wingham has resulted in stolen property being recovered and criminal charges laid.

On Sunday, March 05, 2023, at approximately 8:00 a.m. police were dispatched to Alice Street in Wingham, Township of North Huron for an abandoned pickup truck that was stuck in the ditch. 

Police located the vehicle which contained 10 stolen road signs from Huron County and a stolen drive-through sign from the McDonald’s restaurant in Wingham. During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the owner of the pickup truck had been operating the vehicle on the date in question and was subsequently charged on April 2nd.

Bradley BROUGH, 20 years of age from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 (two counts)

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for May 29th, 2023, in the Goderich Ontario Court of Justice.
