(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On December 31, 2017, at approximately 10:12 p.m., the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation Police observed a possible impaired driver travelling southbound on Muncey Road, in the Municipality of Strathroy Caradoc, Ontario.
Officers conducted a traffic stop of the motor vehicle, a grey Pontiac van, and determined that the 39-year-old male driver had been consuming alcohol. A roadside screening device was administered, and the driver was subsequently placed under arrest for failing to provide a suitable breath sample.
As a result of the police investigation, Stanley GEORGE, from Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, Ontario, has been charged with fail or refuse to provide sample 254(3) alcohol/blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of an appearance notice, and is scheduled to answer the charge in a London court on February 7, 2017.
