(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD TOWNSHIP, ON)- On Sunday, March 26, 2017 at approximately 1:25 a.m. the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Sweaburg Road and Curry Road intersection.
The vehicle was located in the ditch and the driver had left the scene. Further investigation revealed the suspect driver had gotten picked up at the scene and was located within the City of Woodstock. The male driver was arrested, and later transported to area hospital with minor injuries.
Roger MACINTOSH, 51-years-of-age, of Burgessville is charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Failure or Refusal to Provide a Breath Sample. His driver’s licence was suspended and his vehicle impounded for 7 days. He was released on an Appearance Notice to appear on a future date at the Woodstock Courthouse.
