(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 30 year old male with numerous charges at a the result of a vehicle stop at a King St., Hagersville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Saturday November 30th, 2013 at approximately 12:35 am an officer was conducting traffic enforcement along King St. when he was approached by an off-road motorcycle travelling along the side walk.
When the driver was signalled to stop, it accelerated in an erratic manner towards the officer causing him to take evasive action to avoid being struck. As the motorcycle passed by the officer, he was able to reach out and remove the driver from the motorcycle.
Charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Operate Motor Vehicle while ability Impaired, Drive over the legal limit of alcohol, Fail to stop when signalled and several Off – Road Vehicle Act offences is 30 year old Warren MACDOUGALL of Haldimand County, ON. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
