(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) – Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of December 1, 2013. The incident occurred on Colbourne Street in the downtown area of Port Stanley, Central Elgin.
The robbery occurred around 12:30am when a lone female walking on Colbourne Street was approached by a male walking a dog. The male threatened the female indicating that he had a gun, however no weapon was observed. He then demanded money from the woman who turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the area.

White male in his late teens to early 20’s

Heavy build
Medium length dark straight hair
Dark hoody sweater and dark scarf
Dark leather gloves
The dog was described as a larger breed.
Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying this male.
