(TOWN OF PERTH, ON) – Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged the driver of a pickup truck with two Criminal Code of Canada offences in relation to driving in the Town of Perth on Thursday 28th November 2013.
The pickup was seen by Police, at about 7.25am, driving at high speed and passing vehicles Before the stopping for Police on Hwy 7 the pickup traveled at speeds over 125 kilometres per hour (kph) in an 80 kph posted zone.on Wilson St and on Drummond St.
Cecil DOBBIE, aged 44, of Lanark County was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operate Motor Vehicle Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol per 100 millilitres of Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
DOBBIE was released to appear at a later date in the Provincial Court in Perth.
