(Havelock Belmont Methuen Township, ON) – On Monday December 2, 2013 at approximately 11:00 p.m. officer from the Peterborough County OPP Detachment were called to a North School Road residence in response to a domestic incident.
Upon arriving officers were advised that a 37 year old female and her 28 year old boyfriend had been involved in a verbal argument that had accelerated into a physical confrontation. The male had then assaulted the female and she called the police.
As a result of the investigation a 28 year old male from Havelock Belmont Methuen was arrested and charged with Domestic Assault.
The male was held for a bail hearing to be held on Tuesday December 3, 2013 in Peterborough Courts.
