(Oro-Medonte, ON) – With winter on its way and Christmas around the corner there are many people in our community that will find it hard to stay warm when the temperature turns cold let alone put food on the table. Between December 3rd and December 20th, 2013, the members of the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police will be conducting a detachment wide food drive. We will be accepting non-perishable food items at our main office at 20 Rose St in Barrie between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. In addition we are also collecting items for the Barrie animal shelter.
