ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE AND SHOTGUNS TAKEN IN BREAK AND ENTER

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a Break and Enter at a Norfolk County Road 19 East, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Friday, December 13, 2013 between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., unknowns attended the address and gained entry into a garage located on the property. Once inside, unknowns removed a 2012 Canam Commander side by side All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) camouflage in colour. The ATV was then driven through the garage door causing damage to the windshield area.

Unknowns also removed a Remington Versa Max 12 gauge V-Rib shotgun camouflage in colour, Remington SP 10 gauge shotgun, brown and black in colour, five ATV helmets of various colours and sizes and approximately 20 steel shotgun tubes.

The theft is estimated at approximately $12,500 dollars.

A suspect was observed fleeing from the property with the ATV and was last seen travelling at a high rate of speed east bound on Norfolk County Road 19. The suspect is described as a lone male wearing a toque.
