(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Saturday the 11th of January 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a residence in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands in response to the report of a domestic assault. Investigation revealed that an adult female had physically assaulted an adult male.
A 19 year old female of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands has been arrested and charged with assault. She was released from custody on a promise to appear with conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 25th of February 2014.
