(ALNWICK HALDIMAND, ON) – On Sunday January 19, 2014 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended to a sudden death at a residence in Alnwick-Haldimand Township involving a firearm.
The Northumberland OPP’ s uniform and Crime Unit members, the OPP’s Forensic Identification Service Unit (FISU) from Peterborough are assisting the Ontario Coroner’s Office in the investigation where a 27 year old male was found deceased.
The name of the deceased is not being released as the investigation is continuing as a post mortem is being conducted by the Office of the Chief Coroner.
