(NOTTAWASAGA, ON)- Over the past weekend, the Nottawasga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol on the trails ensuring that the snowmobile trails were safe for everyone’s enjoyment. There was an increased use of the local trails due to the Family Day Weekend.
Nottawasaga OPP Officers conducted mobile trail enforcement, R.I.D.E and conducted speed enforcement on multi use trails that community members use for walking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.
There were 610 motorized snow vehicles checked for compliance, 28 provincial offences notices issued and 14 hours of R.I.D.E. over the weekend.
